The world of Intaglio!

It's been ages since I uploaded anything. The semester in nearing an end and I am beginning the oh so joyous task of documenting my work. Here are some piece from my intaglio class! I've loved the process, time consuming as it is, you can make some really attractive images.

This was my first assignment, a test plate to try out different techniques.
This includes hard ground, soft ground, aqua tint, and dry point.

I decided to do two simultaneous plates for the first assignment to get
a better grasp on the process. The same four techniques were used.

This is my print from the 4th assignment. We had to rework one
of our 3 plates. I chose plate 3 (not shown) cause it was super ugly.
I chopped a few inches of copper off the bottom and aqua tinted the
crap out of it. Also did some sugar lift and white ground.
Much better!
